Melanie Quinn, Commercial Director
Melanie joined CTI in January 2016 as Director of Client Partnerships, since then she has been developing CTI’s customer service across all areas of the business, and will now be responsible for sales, client management and marketing, working alongside CTI’s CEO, Clive Wratten.
She joined from Etihad Airways where she was sales manager for the North for almost five years, and was responsible for substantially increasing revenues from the region.
Mike Jones, Senior Sales Partnership Manager
Mike gained his experience and knowledge of the corporate travel marketplace over a 20 year period, working in reservations, account management, business development, bid management and multinational sales. These varied roles were undertaken whilst being employed by some of the industry’s leading companies – including Travel 2, P&O Travel, Fleet Street Travel and BCD.
Prior to joining the travel industry, Mike worked in departmental management for Sainsbury plc but has always had the travel bug – having lived and worked abroad in Europe and the Caribbean.
Mike joined CTI in 2005.
Kirsty Nicholson, Senior Sales Partnership Manager
Kirsty has over 20 years’ experience in working in the travel sector. Her extensive knowledge with working in many different roles within the industry from travel operations; HR, customer services and Sales, has helped her carry out her most rewarding role to date. Her extensive knowledge of the travel industry has also been gained working around the world for over 9 years where her passion for sailing developed and the love of marine travel.
Travel is one of her biggest passions and the bucket list of places she would like to discover grows on a daily basis.
Kirsty joined CTI in 2013 and is so excited about the future of CTI and with all the exciting things that are going on within the company she believes this will be by far the most rewarding role she has ever worked in. Her belief in the dynamic Sales team , innovative technology, Sherpa and the talented people within CTI gives her great joy knowing there are such exciting times ahead.
Julie Walne, Sales Partnership Manager
Julie joined CTI in May 2009 after spending time at Iberia, Monarch & Czech Airlines, Fleet Street Travel, Travelocity & BTM.
“I have always worked in Travel after studying European Tourism with Spanish at University and, surprise surprise, I love to travel as much as I can. I love ski-ing and spending as much time as possible in Spain (I met my hubby there!)”
Amy Hogarth, Sales Partnership Manager
Amy joins CTI after working in a variety of sectors including five star hospitality, leisure travel and has finally settled into her favoured niche of corporate travel. Amy has worked for both multi-million pound corporations and independent agents, giving her a wide scope of the market and a good understanding of client needs.
Amy studied Geography at the University of Leeds, and has lived and worked abroad in Europe and Africa. Combining this love of travel with a good old-fashioned upbringing within a family business – instilling core values of honesty, integrity and the highest levels of customer service, makes her a welcome addition to the CTI team.
